On the Red Dot commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Japanese Occupation in Singapore. On 15 February 1942, the British surrendered Singapore to the victorious Imperial Japanese Army. Japan’s Rising Sun flag flew from all corners of the city then, heralding the start of the darkest chapter in Singapore’s history.
