For the first time, On the Red Dot gains unprecedented access into the classrooms of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). Shot over 4 months, this brand new series reveals what life is really like for the students and lecturers. In the first episode, Lecturer Moses Tay is on a mission to prepare his students for real life after they graduate. But getting them to even turn up is one of the key challenges every ITE lecturer faces. So, Moses has an ace up his sleeve – using games that students play on their mobile phones to keep them interested and coming back for more. Year 2 nursing student Azerael and Year 1 pastry and baking student Sasha come from different walks of life, but they’re both struggling to do well in school as their personal circumstances threaten to sink their dreams.
