The episode looks at some of the responses aimed at addressing the intra-faith differences between Muslims of one orientation/belief with that of the others. Along with it, it asks whether there is a variant of Islam that is best suited to contemporary Southeast Asia where Islam coexists with a multitude of other faiths and beliefs. Some of these various efforts and initiatives taken at state or community level, while others by civil society or private individuals. The episode assesses the effectiveness of these efforts and whether they provide a good way forward.
