The industrialization and urbanization of South Korea have brought many changes to the way Korean people live. Besides changes in the economics and lifestyles, the recent influx of foreign workers and migrants has had some impact on the Korean lives that has been a homogeneous society for a long while. The Muslim community comprises less than 0.3 % of the total population has grown drastically over the years ever since the 80s. With a unique Islamic culture and lifestyle, the Muslim community strives to integrate with the majority Korean cultures while still clinching to their Islamic faith. Their efforts are more significant during the holy month that entail commitments and disciplines.
