Caviar is not a food for common people. At US$35,000 for 1kg, the world's most expensive caviar is from albino sturgeon that lives in Caspian Sea. As worldwide trade in wild caviar is banned, farmers are now the main suppliers. But the heavy investment makes caviar an expensive food at S$400 for 100g.
